I started by adding foundation to the blemishes on my model's skin. I then began to age the skin using liquid latex. I think that this worked particularly well. However my model didn't shave for this practice and so I could not attach the fake beard onto his face in this practice but I am fairly confident that it will stick well.
After adding dark circles under the eyes and defining the wrinkles on the forehead I then practiced the different ways I have tried making fake veins. I decided to use red and have made the decision that placing the colour underneath the tuplast creates a more realistic looking vein whereas the tuplast that I coloured on top of looks fake and inconsistent to a real vein. However I like the redness around the veins as it shows infection which I will add onto my design.
I then added latex to the lip to create a chapped appearance which worked very well.
The overall design has turned out well however I will need to complete another practice in order to apply the beard and greying hairstyle to my model to formulate and practice the final and timed look.
Overall I am very happy with the outcome and the makeup process took around an hour to complete, which leaves half an hour for the very easy hairstyle that I produced. I now want to practice the new vein technique that I have created and try with blue veins to make the look more realistic.
