Plait the largest section at hair and secure at the end with a plait band.
S T E P F O U R
Twist the large plait on the back section into a bun and secure with bobbi pins. Smooth down the two sections at the front of the head and make very loose plaits that loop down and around over the ears. Secure with plait bands. Finish by smoothing down the hair either side of the face to make sure the style is as neat as possible.
I really enjoyed creating this look as it is very simple and easily achieved but looks intricate. I think i could have made my parting on her head more even and symmetrical as well as smoothing down the sides of the head more using hairspray. This hair style however will not necessarily help or inspire my final makeup look as I am creating a look for a male. On the other hand this practical has helped me to gain experience in historical hair styles for possible future projects.
