Assessment 1.

The images below are the outcome of my first assessment in continuity.

I am happy with the final design I have produced and the overall look that I created in the assessment as I had timed the hair and makeup perfectly.  My model was very happy and patient, being very professional and showing up on time, ready for me to complete my assessment.

I followed my continuity notes  and I am very pleased with the outcome of this project. I think I aged my model well and I wasn't stressed throughout the assessment process and my model and I chatted throughout, he says he felt very comfortable and relaxed.  I had a little trouble with the liquid latex that I ordered online as it was drying very patchy however I managed to recover this using some acetone to blend out the edges.

The hair style and beard application was very simple and straightforward and after trimming the fake beard I was confident applying it onto my model's face and I felt this brought the whole look together.  Because I trimmed the beard in the last assessment this will give me a few extra minutes in the next assessment to perfect things.

The veins were very simple to create but if I could change something now I would add more blue toned blending around the veins to create a more realistic and infected look.  However I think the red toned blending around the veins also works to show infection but I feel that the blue would have been more cohesive with my overall look.

Overall I am happy with the look and my time management skills and look forward to completing this look for the second time next week!
